Language of the term

Exploring different languages and cultures across the school year helps us to recognise and celebrate different languages, cultures and traditions of our St Joseph's family and around the world. Over their time at St Joseph's our children will enjoy a range of different languages as part of our Language of the term programme. They will sometimes revisit these languages providing opportunities to revisit their learning and build on vocabulary, culture and traditions. The languages chosen will often reflect our school community and will also provide opportunities to explore a wide range of experiences connected to our wider curriculum when possible. 

 

 

 

 

Term 1 & 2 - We will enjoy looking more closely at France and learning more about the language and culture.
