How can we make something travel upwards as high as possible?

The children were given the opportunity to explore air resistance by making different sized pieces of card fly by using a selection of plastic bottles with different volumes.  We were able to discuss the range of variables that they could change to achieve different results. The children were able to use their investigation skills by making predictions, asking questions, observing and discuss their findings.
