D&T - How can I create a machine prototype?

Our task was to use our knowledge about simple machines to create a prototype that would help the Egyptians transport large bricks to build the pyramids. Popokotea Class thought that using both an incline plane and wheel and axel together would be the best solution. So, we created our prototypes. We took it in turns to saw an axel for our wheel and axel machine prototype. We had great fun and remembered the safety rules when using sharp tools. We also created a incline plane prototype using thick card.
