Coronavirus Information 2021

Dear parents/carers,

As I am sure you have seen, we are now in national lockdown therefore St Joseph's will now be closed to pupils except for key worker children and vulnerable children as of midnight tonight.

Key Worker and Vulnerable Children

Please see previous email regarding key worker needs, let us know if you require your child to attend school by submitting the form or email as soon as possible.

If you have already emailed with your options, these have now been taken in account and your child has been added for the days you have requested.

Key worker/vulnerable children will attend school from 9am until 3pm.

Please keep to Covid protocol in the playground. Children will need to line up at 9am outside Air class entrance, they will then follow a schedule of handwashing before making their way to the hall where they will all be taught together. (whilst adhering to Covid-19 risk assessment) You can collect them at 3pm from the Air class entrance.

There will be no PE until further notice. Please send children to school in normal full uniform. If your child does not receive a free school meal they will be required to bring a packed lunch with them. (as per previous lockdown)

Children Learning From Home

Whilst your child is not attending school they are expected to complete the learning on-line. This needs to be purple mash as well as learning from the class page on our website. Teachers will be monitoring learning and following up where none has been submitted.

If you have any queries or concerns, please email your child's teacher (details can be found on our website) They will aim to reply within 24 hours. If it is urgent, please telephone the school office.

Free School Meals

Free school meals will still be supplied to the school therefore if your child is not attending school, you can still collect their meal. You can collect your child's meal from outside reception everyday at 12.30pm. If you are entitled to free school meals and you DO NOT wish to collect meals daily please email;

Stay safe everyone
