During Lent we remember that Jesus washed his disciples' feet to remember him by as we prepare for Easter.
The children role-played Holy Communion and we discussed why it was important and linked it back to the Last Supper with the words Jesus used. 'Do this in memory of me'

Father Leo and Father Godwin led a whole school Mass in memory of our beloved Trish.
Who are the special people in our Parish community?
The children made models of St Finbarr's and added in signs and symbols to show their understanding of it being a Holy place for the Parish family.
Father Leo led a wonderful end of term Mass to remind us of the joy, love, peace and hope for the coming of Jesus.
We learnt that Advent is a time for 'waiting' for the birth of Jesus.
Mrs Seager- Flemming led the Christingle service.
She reminded us that Jesus is the light of the world and we lit the third candle on our wreath and sang 'Let it shine'.
The Year 6's helped the children to make their Christingles for our special assembly.
The children performed their hearts out to the school and their families to retell them of the birth of Jesus.
