We discussed in class what a landmark is. We went for a walk around Aylesham to look for landmarks that tell us about the history of the village or places they were familiar with. We found the monument in the market square as well as the two statues that represent the mining history of Aylesham. We also saw St Finbarr's which is our Parish Church and is identified by the shape of the roof.
