A lovely lady called Natalie came and taught us all about budgeting money! We worked in groups, and we made decisions about what things we 'want' to buy and what things we 'need' to buy. Natalie even gave us a coin for our hard work!
We were a great audience for Giraffe Class Ukulele performance. We even got to do some body percussion with their music teacher, which we really enjoyed!
Popokotea Class had a go at creating their own graffiti! We learnt that there can be good and bad types of graffiti in a community.
Popokotea Class enjoyed learning about the charity Children in Need and we wore a spotty item to school to show our support!
Popokotea Class enjoyed a poetry workshop with Michael Rosen on Michael Rosen Day! We enjoyed retelling some of Michael's famous poems. We remembered his most famous poem 'Chocolate Cake' from last year!
We learnt about anti-bullying and did some fun activities like this one where we decorated our own odd socks!
Popokotea Class filled their marble jar again, so we had a lovely reward of snacks, PJs and movie in the hall.

Popokotea Class are so proud of Joseph for his amazing clay pot that he made at home. Joseph was really eager to show the class his creation and explained how he had made it! Well done Joseph!
Popokotea Class went for a walk around our local area. We used digi-maps to point out different features.
In groups, Popokotea Class role-played the model text 'How to trap a Stone Giant'. Role-playing helps us to remember the text.
