Look at that!
What can I see? 
A chocolatey, scrumptious, yummy cake
Just for me!

A round brown tasty cake, 
Sprinkled with chocolate and icing, 
Crunchy chocolate balls on top,
Oozing with fluffy cream. 

My cake is sweet. 
Sticky and gooey, 
Soft and sweet deliciously smooth and creamy. 

Crunching through the sprinkles,
Sucking up the cream, 
Rumbling from my tummy,
Happy sounds I hear. 

Smarties melt on my tongue,
Yummy chocolate fills my mouth. 
Cake like candy floss sticks on my lips, 
Creamy crumbles on my chin. 

Sniffing, sniffing yummy chocolate, 
Vanilla in the air-Everywhere. 
Making me hungry, 
 

Popokotea has been learning how to create a poem in English lessons this term and creating poems on their favourite foods!

It's been very exciting to learn everyone's favourite food: pancakes, Spaghetti bolognese and even Sushi!
